This charming B&B was featured on Channel 4's highly successful home and lifestyle series 'Relocation Relocation'.

Situated in the heart of the New Forest, Wynford Corner offers guests the opportunity to stay in a quiet, picturesque location within minutes of the centre of Brockenhurst village. All rooms are decorated and furnished in a calming and contemporary style whilst retaining the original features of the country cottage.

Wynford Corner adjoins Lucy and Steve's own home, with a separate entrance and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. The front of the house sits on Forestry land with the New Forest literally on your doorstep – ponies, pigs and cattle regularly come to graze and to drink from the nearby 'watersplash'.

Breakfast is as 'full English' or 'continental light' as you like, mercifully served at a time to suit you (appreciating that guests come away to avoid getting up at the crack of dawn). Lucy and Steve's aim is to make you feel comfortably at home and free to come and go as you please.

The house has been extensively renovated in order to provide guests with

- Access to the open forest (approx 50 metres)

Room Rates
£60 - £80 per room per night (other rates apply on Special Dates e.g. Valentine's Day and for Bank Holidays).

We only take bookings for a minimum 2 nights stay.

Cash or cheque payment is requested. We regret that credit cards cannot be accepted.

Please note that a deposit will be required to confirm your booking. This is non-refundable if cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your arrival.

In the event of a 'no show' you will be invoiced for the full amount.

By Car:
To reach us, leave the M27 at Junction 1, signposted to The New Forest/Lyndhurst. Follow the A337 through Lyndhurst and on to Brockenhurst. As you near Brockenhurst you pass the Balmer Lawn Hotel on your left, shortly after this take the first right into Meerut Road (signposted to The Cloud Hotel). Follow Meerut Road, passing The Cloud Hotel, and take the first left – red telephone box on the corner – into Butts Lawn. You will find Wynford Corner on your right shortly before the watersplash at the end of Butts Lawn. Journey time from Lyndhurst is approximately 5– 10 minutes.

By train:
Brockenhurst train station is a direct service from London Waterloo station taking approximately 1hr 40mins. We are less than 5 minutes by car from the station and would be happy to collect you.

Brockenhurst is the ideal base for exploring the New Forest. It is in the heart of the countryside with the coastal town of Lymington just 10 minutes away and the picturesque villages of Lyndhurst, Burley and Beaulieu at a similar distance.

Brockenhurst is also one of the few remaining New Forest villages where ponies and cattle still have right of way.

The New Forest provides many opportunities for golf, cycling, riding and walking with cycle/mountain bike hire and horse riding facilities located in Brockenhurst village.

If you fancy something a little less active, there are also numerous places to visit in the surrounding area including:

- Lord Montagu's Palace and Motor Museum at Beaulieu
- Bucklers Hard, the ship building hamlet where Nelson's ships were built
- Lymington marina, where yachts can be chartered or a ferry taken to the Isle of Wight (20 mins)
- Exbury Gardens, renowned for its Rhododendrons and Camellias
- The village of Burley where, as in Brockenhurst, ponies roam freely and wagon tours are available

For the bargain hunters, Lymington's popular Saturday market and the variety of independent shops in Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst offer an enjoyable and relaxing way of spending time (and, of course, money!).

As if all this was not enough, Stonehenge, historic Winchester, Bournemouth, Poole, Salisbury and, of course, Southampton are all within easy reach.

The New Forest offers something for everyone whether you are looking for an activity filled break or simply a relaxing weekend of good food and leisurely walks.

Restaurants and pubs

There is a wide variety of restaurants on offer in Brockenhurst and the surrounding villages including French, Chinese, Indian, traditional English and, of course, fish and chips.

Lucy and Steve are happy to recommend somewhere to suit your taste and make a reservation in advance (weekends can be extremely busy in the summer season at some of the more popular pubs and restaurants).

A picnic hamper can also be made up for you and a blanket provided should you decide to eat al fresco.

Knowing some of the best places for you to enjoy the Forest and, better still, be unlikely to see anyone else (although you may chance upon the odd deer or pony), Lucy will be happy to recommend the perfect picnic spot. Please try to give as much notice as possible if a picnic is required and advise of any dietary requirements.
